IT BEGGARS belief that David Wilshire MP claims £6,000 for travelling to his work, among other expenses.
He just doesn't live in the real world - the majority of working people would love to have his MP salary and also be allowed to claim for their travel to their work place.
In the real world, of course, it doesn't matter where you live in relation to your workplace, you pick up the tab from your salary for the travelling expenses.
His party cannot expect to receive my vote in future if he has the arrogance to stand at the next General Election and judging by his response to your paper about his travelling expenses, I'm sure he will wish to stand again.
