Woolworths in Staines is preparing to welcome pop royalty when Sir Cliff Richard visits the store on Saturday September 6.

The veteran singer will sign copies of his new book Cliff Richard: My Life, My Way - which celebrates his 50 years in show business - at the High Street store between 4pm-5pm.

Woolworths manager Stephen Deller said: "We are extremely excited and can't wait for Cliff Richard to visit our store. He has a huge loyal fan base and we're expecting a great atmosphere."

However Sir Cliff says he will only sign copies of the new book and people must have a wristband to attend the signing. They are available in advance from Staines Woolworths or on request if you email cliffrichardsigning@woolworths.co.uk
