Incident at Shepperton Road
A woman motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after falling from her bike and being hit by a lorry.
She suffered possible fractures to her left leg and collarbone, as well as chest injuries, during the incident in Shepperton Road, Laleham, on 9am on Friday (September 26).
The woman, who was riding a black Daytona Triumph, was taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, where her condition was described as stable. The lorry driver suffered minor injuries.
The smash resulted in the road being closed for nearly five hours, which led to congestion in and around the area, while crash investigators worked at the scene.
