SUNBURY Manor students found out all about the blitz as part of a special World War Two week to celebrate the school's humanities specialist status.
Corridors and classrooms were decorated with war-themed paraphernalia, as students were taught about the Dig for Victory campaign and what life was like for young evacuees.
Activities included building life size Morrison Shelters, planning and planting allotments and creating replica documents to be taken in an evacuee box.
A local theatre group also came in to run a session on the Holocaust and recreated Anne Frank's hiding house.
At lunchtimes students took part in vegetable planting in the school's new outdoor classroom, as well as playing games from the 1940s.
The week culminated in a VE day party with music, games, food and drink from the era.
