EAGLE-EYED viewers may have spotted a couple of familiar sites while watching television this week.
A new advertisement for Walkers Crisps is on screens, starring model and TV presenter Cat Deeley and ex-England footballer Gary Lineker, and was partly filmed at The Crown & Rose pub, in Virginia Water, and also at Thorpe Park.
The ad, which aired last Tuesday during Gok’s Clothes Show at 8.30pm on Channel 4, has the two TV stars playing a lovestruck couple enjoying the great British countryside.
A new promotion from the crisp company offers discounts on days out all over the UK through their ‘Gary’s Great Trips’ campaign. Customers can collect crisp packets to save money on trips to theme parks (including Thorpe Park) and National Trust houses.
