Magna Carta celebration day

MAGNA Carta Day 2009 will take place in Egham High Street on Saturday.
The event will be opened by Runnymede Mayor Paul Tuley at 11am. Live bands, dancers and a mixture of professional entertainers and talented local amateurs will entertain the crowds.
The popular Chobham Morris Men will return, along with Simply Dance and Maia the Belly Dancer.
This year also sees the highest number of stalls from local organisations, including many charities who will be fundraising on the day, while the town’s restuarants and traders will use the day to show off their products.
