Veteran and vintage vehicles will be getting plenty of admiring glances at this weekend's Egham Royal Show - much in the way this car attracted plenty of attention in the town 104 years ago.

It had come to grief in a collision with another car and is seen here awaiting attention in outside Drake and Mount's in the High Street.

The damaged car was owned by Messrs Parton and White, while the other vehicle in the accident belonged to the ex-Mayor of Chard in Somerset, who sustained a broken jaw in the crash.
