Three girls from St David's School in Church Road, Ashford, were among the best in the country in their GCSE art and design exam earlier this summer, according to examining body Edexcel.
Beth Morgan, Caroline Ross and Kirsten Tinkler, were placed in the top 10 out of 36,294 candidates nationwide.
Head teacher Tessa Smith said: "We have always been aware that the art produced at St David's is very impressive.
"That fact, coupled with our girls' abilities in exams, is confirmed by this amazing success. To have one girl in the top 10 would be a real achievement.
"To have three is outstanding."
The news is icing on the cake for the school. This year 44% of GCSE results were grades A* or A.
