'Happy' school's exemplary report

Sunbury Manor students have been labelled "exemplary" by impressed inspectors.

The school was praised extensively by the five-strong Ofsted team, who said students "make an outstanding contribution to the community".

They added Sunbury Manor promoted an "exceptionally inclusive ethos and strong teamwork".

And following the visit, the inspectors wrote to every student thanking them for their behaviour and telling them Sunbury Manor was "a happy school because you enjoy your learning".

Delighted head teacher Louise Duncan said: "This is a lovely report and what we do in school day in, day out is totally recognisable through every page of it. I am, as always, so proud of the outstanding students and staff of Sunbury Manor."
