EL RECORDS PREM CHALLENGE CUP Staines Lammas...........4 Warlingham...........8 (aet)
Nathan Wharf declared Jimmy Brazil will never play for Staines Lammas again after his no-show for Saturday's EL Records Premier Challenge Cup defeat to Warlingham.
The youngster went AWOL before kick-off and hasn't returned any of boss Wharf's phone calls since.
And the Lammas supremo is adamant Brazil won't appear again in a Lammas shirt.
He fumed: "He won't play again while I'm here. He let me and his team-mates down.
"He didn't even have the decency to phone me, and told one of the boys he couldn't be bothered. Well I'm not having it."
Meanwhile, Wharf has filled the void left by Brazil's exit by snapping up Staines Town youngster Nick White on dual registration.
And the attacking midfielder will go straight into the side for Saturday's clash with Sheerwater.
"I see him playing on the right-hand side," said Wharf. "He knows where the goal is and I've been impressed by him when I've seen him for Staines's academy."
Wharf is also on the look-out for some 'generals' after his young side surrendered a 4-1 lead to crash out 8-4 against Warlingham.
Jamie Redr upp hammered the hosts ahead with a 25-yard piledriver inside three minutes.
Nduka Azagba set up Jay Coombs for the second, before firing a third on the half hour as Staines were cruising.
Warlingham pulled one back before the break, but Coombs restored their lead after the restart.
But a catalogue of defensive errors let the visitors back into it to force extra time.
And Wharf's troops gave up the ghost as Warlingham scored four time without reply to seal their passage into the next round.
"It was men against boys," added Wharf. "I don't give a monkeys what goes on in games but you don't give up. "We haven't got enough generals out there."
