Nathan Wharf believes Staines Lammas are back in the title race following Saturday's victory at Sheerwater.
Just two weeks after all-but giving up any chance of retaining their Combined Counties One crown, back-to-back wins has got boss Wharf believing again.
He said: "We're seven points off the top, but we like coming from behind.
"We showed that last season, and we've got a big game at Knaphill on Saturday week."
Jay Coombs set them on their way to victory when he side-footed home Dean Greenwood's cross 20 minutes in.
Steve Willmore, Lawrence Munns and Coombs came close to extend their lead before they went two goals ahead.
Willmore made amends for his miss when he headed home Chris Baker's free-kick.
Lammas sealed the points after the break from another Baker set-piece, this time Munn diverting the ball past the Sheerwater keeper to put them 3-0 up.
However, the hosts did pull a goal back late on when a effort caught out keeper Dan Cox.
* STAINES LAMMAS went out of the Surrey Premier Cup to a late goal at Walton Casuals on Monday.
Steve Willmore and Nick White had got them level after they trailed 2-0 at half-time.
But Willmore got first use of the shower gel for two yellows soon after, and Casuals snatched a dramatic 3-2 win.
