Youth Football: Super Sadiq hits four for Halliford

GOAL-HUNGRY Zeyn Sadiq bagged four goals as Halliford Colts U10 Juniors trounced Kew Park Rangers Colts on Sunday.

But Colts left it late to claim the win.The teams went in at half-time all square at 1-1, but four goals in the last 10 minutes saw them run out 5-1 winners.

Isaac Griffith scored the other, while Alessandro Nacca starred.

Elsewhere, Eden Goonesekera's treble helped the U11s to a fine 6-2 victory over Hersham.

Captain Charlie Rose, Oliver Kluth and Callum Green were also on the scoresheet.

In the non-competitive action, man-of-the-match Matthew Allen helped himself to three goals against Barnes Eagles Colts in a terrific team performance.

Meanwhile, James Hopkins' heroics couldn't stop the U7s slipping to defeat against the same opposition.

SAM BLAKEBROUGH slammed the winner as Spelthorne Sports U7s came from behind to see off Old Isleworthians on Sunday.

After a goalless first-half, Is broke the deadlock. But Matthew Hogg's second goal of the season drew them level before Blakebrough snatched the points late on.

Ewan Baker and Sunny Cambridge were rock solid in defence.

Meanwhile, Connor Moody and Casen Desguza were on the mark as the U15s drew 2-2 with AFC Wimbledon.

However, there was nothing to shout about for the U10s as they were crushed 4-0 at Badshot Lea.

HOT-SHOT Bradley Syrett bagged a hat-trick as goal-crazy Staines Albion U14s A thrashed Molesey Juniors on Sunday.

After falling a goal behind early on, the hosts responded with three quick-fire goals and raced into a 5-1 lead by the break.

They added four more after the interval as Albion sealed their biggest win of the season.

Daniel Lunt and Jordan Smither scored two each, while Tyler Penfold and James Laszlo completed the 9-1 rout.

Elsewhere, Jake Kemp's treble helped the U13s to a fine away win at Bedfont Green.

Goal-machine Kemp took his tally to 31 for the season in the 3-2 victory, while Ryan Shaw was commanding at the back.

Meanwhile, the U11s stormed into the semi-finals of the cup as they beat Walton Casuals.

Dylan Parr started the scoring spree with an excellent free kick in the first-half.

The floodgates opened after the interval with Tyler May and Ollie Hall adding two each, while Elliot Axten completing the scoring for Staines.

Ollie Hall bagged the man-of-the-match award in the 6-0 demolition.

GOAL-MACHINE Sam O'Leary hit a hat-trick as Egham Town U17s cruised to victory over Horsley on Sunday.

It could have been four goals for O'Leary as he missed from the penalty spot.

Meanwhile, man-of-the-match Adam Bonner bagged a late winner as the U11s edged out neighbours Staines Town Juniors by the odd goal in five.

Jack Grey continued his rich vein of form to give Egham an early lead, then Bonner made it two with a fine solo effort.

Mile Knight halved the deficit from the penalty spot, and Staines levelled soon after.

But Bonner had the final word eight minutes from time to give Egham bragging rights.

STAINES LAMMAS U11S done their country proud at a five-a-side tournament in Sweden last week.

Alan Castelman and Mark Beach's boys were narrowly edged out in the quarter-final after romping through the group stages. They opened their account with a narrow 2-1 win, before being taught a lesson as they crashed 5-2 in the second.

However, a 6-0 demolition in the final group game earned them a place in the last eight.

Despite conceding two goals against the run of play, Lammas hit back to halve the deficit.

They lay siege to the Swedes goal in search of a leveller, but a combination of the woodwork and some fine goalkeeping sent them tumbling out.

The boys, pictured with Torns IF, are, (from left to right): Charlie Ulvmoen, Ben Castleman, Liam Beach, Ty Kinmonth, Charlie Davies, Sam Miller, Connor Darby and Edward Soane.
