A DOSE of the hairdryer treatment helped Egham Town U17s reach the SPL Cup final after coming from behind to beat Bookham on Sunday.

Trailing 1-0 at the break, Egham boss Chris Whitehead blasted his troops during the half-time interval.

And his words had the desired effect as they blew Bookham away in the second 45 minutes.

Ross Ayling scored from a corner to level, then man-of-the-match Ryan Castledine fired home a cracking 20-yard effort to put them in front.

Jaime Halcett rounded the keeper for the third to double their lead before the visitors managed a late consolation as it ended 3-2.

Elsewhere, the U11s chalked up their fourth win on the spin against Ash United.

Ryan East and Ronnie Mitchell strikes sent them in 2-1 at the break.

And two unanswered headed efforts from Cameron Mason and Liam Moore ensured they ran out comfortable 4-1 winners. Midfielder Drew Pearce was star man.

JAKE WHITBY bagged the only goal of the game as Spelthorne Sports U15 Navy edged out Mayford Athletic in the SPL on Sunday.

Not to be outdone, the U15s won by the same margin in their Surrey Youth Premier clash at AC Cheam.

Connor Moody and Connor McCormack were on the mark in the 2-1 triumph.

The U7s dominated from start to finish as they won at AFC Walcountians Pumas.

Jamie Pritchard opened the scoring, then Dan Loveridge doubled their lead.

The hosts halved the deficit, but Ewan Baker wrapped up the 3-1 victory when he lashed the ball into the top corner.

Meanwhile, the U10s were held 0-0 at neighbours Halliford Colts.

MANORCROFT UNITED U12 Colts turned the form book on the head to beat Links FC and reach the cup final on Sunday.

After being thrashed 5-1 by the same opposition in the league last week, they knew they were up against it.

But they got off to a dream start when Kyle Lewis fired them in front inside 90 seconds.

Links levelled against the run of play by half-time, but Manorcroft pulverised them after the break with four goals without reply.

Joe Spillman bagged a double, while Brad Chambers and man-of-the-match Greg Titmarsh were also on the mark.

Elsewhere, the U10s rattled in three second-half goals as they cruised past Hayes Youth.

They wasted a host of chances as they went in goalless at the break.

But they came out after the interval with all guns blazing, and goals from Ryan Cook, Thomas Ive and Cameron Clark, from a James Goodey pass, saw them ease to a 3-0 win.

VICTORIA-KTORI TUCKER scored after just 20 seconds as Colne Valley U15s sealed their County Cup final spot with victory over Barnes Eagles on Sunday.

The home keeper's first touch was to pick the ball out of the net as Tucker broke straight from the centre to score.

Lauren O'Reilly added a second, and Mica Powick teed up Jess Barnes for the third to put them out of sight straight after the break.

The hosts pulled one back, but O'Reilly's second restored their three-goal cushion.

Megan Hicks wrapped up the 5-1 win, while Sofi Mcevoy and Vicky Stanford starred.

Elsewhere, the U11s had a mixed day in their double header at Epsom Eagles.

Charlotte Charlton's effort saw them edge the first match 1-0, but they went down by the same scoreline in the reverse.
