NEVER mind David Beckham - Egham Town U11 Whites have got Lee Godzisz!

Captain Godzisz wasn't even born when a young Becks scored from inside his own half against Wimbledon in August 1996 - but that didn't stop him producing a carbon copy of the feat in his side's 2-2 draw with Potley Strikes on Sunday.

The wonder goal put his side ahead in the first-half, a lead they lost by half-time.

Lucas Wan headed them in front again from Robert Tyler's corner, but they weren't able to hold on for the win.

Jake Pollard turned in a man-of-the-match performance as Egham Town U11 Reds won for the sixth time in a row on Sunday.

The midfield dynamo stamped his authority on the game with some crunching tackles, before creating both his side's goals in their 2-0 victory away at Bedfont Green.

Ryan East and Liam Moore were the boys to benefit from Pollard's excellent approach work.

Meanwhile, James Haggerty had his shooting boots on for the U17s, firing a brace as they beat arch rivals Chertsey 4-2.

Jamie Halcet and Sam O'Leary got one each, while Will Hall took the man-of-the-match honours for a towering performance at the back.

BRADLEY CHAMBERS' fine second-half brace proved only enough for a 3-3 draw for Manorcroft United's U12 Colts at Kingstonian as they suffered late heartbreak.

Joe Spillman had put Manorcroft in front, but they trailed 2-1 at the interval before Chambers' scoring antics once again turned the game on it's head.

However the hosts banged in an unstoppable 25-yarder in the dying minutes to snatch a draw.

There was better news for the U10s who defeated Halliford Juniors 2-0, despite missing a host of first-half chances.

James Godfrey eventually gave them a half-time lead with a low shot, and Thomas Ive made the points safe in the second-half, scoring direct from a free-kick.

OLIVER HOWES sparked a trio of first-half goals as Staines Albion U14s beat Ottershaw 3-1 on Sunday.

Howes fired his side in front midway through the half, a lead Albion doubled five minutes later courtesy of Tyler Penfold's neat finish.

Phillip Tyrer's stunning strike just before the break killed off the game as a contest, with Ottershaw's second-half strike little more than a consolation.

Meanwhile Albion's U11 were involved in a much closer affair against Walton Casuals.

Skipper Connor Lane produced several fine saves in a first-half which ended goalless, stops which would later earn him the man-of-the-match award.

Staines then took control after the break with Tyler May and Dylan Parr firing them into a two-goal lead.

Casuals snatched a goal back, but Lane's continued good form meant Albion kept hold of the points.

RACHEL MARLOWE led a first-half goal glut as Colne Valley Girls thrashed hapless Merstham on Sunday.

Marlowe bagged five as the hosts took advantage of an injury to the visitors' goalkeeper to race to a 9-0 lead at the break.

Visions of a cricket score were in view, but to their credit the visitors restricted Colne Valley to just two further scores in the second half and even managed to get on the score-sheet themselves.

Abi Musk and Lauren O'Reilly each bagged a brace, while Mica Powick and centre-back Sofi McEvoy were Colne's other scorers in the 11-1 demolition.
