LONDON SW THREE Trojans............................24 Weybridge Vandals....... 12
The London South-West Three title race will go to the wire after Vandals lost their 100 per cent league record to championship rivals Trojans.
Two second-half tries for the hosts ended Vandals' 18 game winning streak, but the Weybridge side will still pip Trojans in the race for glory if they win their last three matches because of their vastly superior points difference.
The first-half was a story of penalties, with both sides incurring the wrath of the referee as they attempted to stamp their authority on the game.
Cassian Bramham-Law gave Vandals an early lead from a penalty, but the hosts' greater possession and territory saw them into a 9-3 lead just before the interval.
Bramham Law swung the game back the visitors' way with kicks either side of half-time, and the title was in sight at 12-9 midway through the second half.
However, Trojans levelled again following a line-out offence and then snatched the crucial try as their full-back broke a tackle and raced away to score.
Vandals could still have salvaged a precious point, but for a forward pass when they looked certain to score, and after one last move broke down, Trojans kicked ahead and followed up for the match-clinching try.
