Mac earns Water win

KEVIN McAULEY's brace led Virginia Water to a pre-season win over Old Rutlishians on Saturday.

McAuley struck after half an hour to give Water the lead but the visitors levelled before half- time when Jimmy Edwick was beaten by a low shot.

The hosts won it with two goals in the last 15 minutes, Martin Peters scoring with a shot on the turn before McAuley sealed the win with his second goal of the game from the spot.
